Our last event of the year took us to Monticello, Indiana to provide a custom 9 hole mini golf experience for Wabash Valley Farms for their corporate holiday event. Wabash Valley Farms is a manufacturer of several different types of popcorn as well as gourmet popcorn. Our course designers had that in mind when this course was designed.
For the 9th and final hole of the mini golf course, we put a vintage popcorn machine on the course as an obstacle. Inside the vintage popcorn machine was popcorn products made by Wabash Valley Farms. Guests at the event had to either putt around or putt through the vintage popcorn machine but the fun of this hole did not stop there. Prior to the cup, there were two traps surrounding the cup that were filled with Wabash Valley Farms popcorn bags that made this hole both more challenging and entertaining. Our staff did observe when the course was picked up at the conclusion of the event that the popcorn bags were not taken but were shifted in order to get a more favorable putt.
This mini golf rental also included numerous obstacles including a red steel bridge, a 3 hole red crown and a 3 hole window to choose which window you want to putt through. Our course designers did create another unique hole & obstacle for this experience as well. An Up & Under hole was created and the obstacle on that hole had hanging popcorn bags to putt through. For that hole the shots had to be perfect.

When our staff returned to pick up the course, they were greeted with both handshakes and sadness. Handshakes as the employees of Wabash Valley Farms as well as the venue staff thoroughly enjoyed the course and sadness as they did not want the course removed.
