Philadelphia Phillies Fan Experience

We were honored to be chosen once again by the Philadelphia Phillies for their 2025 Fan Experience in creating a custom 9 hole mini golf course rental for a lucky fan and his & her friends to play mini golf with two current Philadelphia Phillies players. The Phillies organization auctions off this experience to raise funds for location charities and it is done before a home game during the summer months.

We were once again blessed with a beautiful sunny summer day in late July where our 9 hole course would be installed at the Citizens Phan Field of Citizens Bank Park. Citizens Phan is the wiffle ball field and is the perfect size for creating a custom course. Continuing from earlier in the month with now providing custom colors of turf besides that of green, 6 of the holes for this event were red and the other 3 holes were the traditional green. Holes 1, 5 & 9 were the green holes and these holes each had a Phillies turf logo near the tee area. To start the course, hole 1 was a challenging par 3 with two legs and a branded obstacle that was dangling Herr's potato chip bags to putt through in the first part of the fairways. Hole 5 we labeled the Phillie Phanatic as that was the hole in 2024, where the Phillie Phanatic miraculously was able to get a hole in 1. The last hole of the course was the Skeeball hole which had a branded Skeeball marquee to collect the last shots of the golfers.

The other six holes the turf was a Philllies red and these holes with the contrasted 3 green holes created a dramatic effect for this rental. Hole 2 started the first of the red turf holes with a large box that was branded on the front and back and had a Phillies batting helmet on the top. Hole 3 was our newly created elevated bank shot hole with a curve. To provide further branding, the middle of the elevated bank shot had a Phillies turf logo . Hole 4, the cup was surrounded with two traps that had baseballs and miniature Phillies batting helmets. The player had to make a perfect putt straight from the tee in order to avoid the two traps on the way to the cup.

Hole 6 was adorned with the Love Sign and the base of the Love Sign was decorated with the Phillies logo on the front and back sides. Golfers had to choose the proper opening in the Love Sign base, there are three, in order to have their putt pass through the Love Sign base. Hole 7 was another hole where the cup was surrounded with two traps. These traps however were filled with Herr's Potato Chip bags and jutted out in different directions. The last hole of the ones with red turf was Hole 8. This hole was a very straightforward putt to the cup. However, the cup is on a circular surface that is surrounded by water and the cup size is just a little bit larger than the golf ball itself. While a hole in 1 can be achieved, no holes in 1 were scored on this day.

The lucky fan and his friends were joined by Brandon Marsh and Alex Bohm who were the same Phillies players who participated in 2024. The Phillies players thought they would be playing the same course as in 2024. While the fan and friends were thrilled with the experience, the players also enjoyed themselves as we provided them with a new experience. The Phillies organization followed up with us and communicated that they were thrilled with the custom red turf holes and look forward to recreating the mini golf rental again.
